I can’t get over this lovely weather we’re having, it honestly feels like I could be abroad! I’ve been spending so much more time outdoors recently and just love dining alfresco! With the weather so gorgeous though, it’s really important for us all to stay well hydrated.

To help you I’ve shared one of my favourite Summer drinks to whip up and sip on in the garden, or you could even add to your picnic basket! It’s the most refreshing, cooling drink ever… and I just know that your friends and family are going to simply love it too!

How much water do you consume each day? If you struggle to drink enough or get bored of plain old water then read on – it’s time to jazz up your H2O with my delicious Strawberry Kiwi Water!

Luckily for me I’m a big water guzzler, but I do find that tap water doesn’t always taste that great – does anyone else find that? Plus I’ve definitely become more conscious of my single-use plastic consumption, and with a view to try to reduce this, I’ve been loving using my BRITA jug as a more sustainable alternative to single-use bottled water. Simply serving straight from jug to glass or filling up my own bottle to have on-the-go.

Using my BRITA Style water jug turns tap water into great tasting filter water, it’s more eco-friendly and a convenient alternative to bottled water – plus it works wonderfully in my delicious Strawberry Kiwi Water recipe!

Ingredients:

  • 1.5-2 litres BRITA filtered water
  • 4-5 strawberries, hulled
  • 1 kiwi, peeled and sliced
  • 10 mint leaves
  • Ice, lots of it!

Method:

  • Place the strawberries, kiwi and mint leaves in to a pitcher.
  • Fill the pitcher with BRITA filtered water and add ice.
  • Serve in cute glass jars with your al fresco nibbles, and top up as needed.
